Week 2 Schedule Posted - Weekend of 13th last weekend of play in 2009, Rotation 2 to resume early January
All,
There were an inordinate number of schedule requests, presumably due to holiday festivities beginning. There were too many to specifically accomodate, so we've basically had to ignore all of them. If the schedule corresponds or conflicts with your request, it is purely accidental. We do try to accomodate where possible, but it wasn't possible this weekend.
Next wekend will be the final weekend of play for 2009; Rotation 2 will continue the first week after the Christmas school break.
NOTE THAT GROUP 7 PLAYS SATURDAY AT ELBOW BEACH.

Fall 2009 Rotation 2 - New Groupings and Schedule for First Week
Here is the schedule for the first week of the new rotation, along with new groupings. The schedule for the balance of 2009 will be sent out over the weekend.
I will contact Group 1 separately as the size of the group will require some matches to be played before or after Group 1's scheduled time (ie we'll use 4 courts, with three courts for one 2 hour block and court for another 1-2 hour block). Still working out details, but will communicate week one matchups for that group by tomorrow afternoon.

Standings for Groups 3-10 - Prior to final weekend before rotations
All, please find the link below showing the standings for Groups 3-10 prior to the final weeekend (weather permitting) of this first rotation.
Fall 2009 Rotation 1 Standings Before Final Week
For those who are new I'll briefly explain how standings work. Each week, points are awarded based on how a player finishes the week. The attached file shows the points awarded.
Points Schedule
Standings are based on the sum of these scores for all the weeks played. Players are allowed to drop their lowest score for a given rotation, as long as it wasn't due to a no show. If a player missed a week and let me know, then they can drop one 0 weekly score. If a player was a no show for a given week, then the 0 score for that week may not be dropped. Note that only one score can be dropped per rotation.
If we have decent weather this weekend and everyone can complete at least their 4th week of play, then we will rotate groups 2-10 after this weekend. (This is why there hasn't been a schedule released beyond the coming weekend).
